Hi Sierra, this should be delivered.
Alhora supports simple repeating edge designs through Details → Book style → Backgrounds & borders, using a border that extends into the bleed and applies across the printed book. Bleed must also be enabled under Details → Print layout. However, automatically converting a picture into different artwork for each page, creating a complete image across the closed book’s edges, isn’t currently supported.

Before starting an editing session, choose Suggest changes under Guest editing mode. Your editor’s changes stay separate from your manuscript until you approve them. Open Suggested edits to review and accept or reject each suggestion — you keep the final say!

Hi! Yes, that's the whole purpose of this software. With any subscription method, you can export these books into how they need to be exactly formatted for IngramSpark, KDP, Apple Books and the like. This goes for both ebook and print copies.

Hi Cindy-rose. You can change your book cover by clicking on your book on the Home Screen, Select Edit Binding, and then it will take you to the area where you can set your front, back, spine and edge colour. These attributes make their way to epub files where appropriate.

There's now a setting called "Fit to the opening" in the Style panel under Chapter openers, switched on by default, so when a chapter starts on a very short paragraph the drop cap quietly shortens itself instead of holding its full depth and leaving that gap. Books you've already written should simply look better next time you open them, with nothing for you to change. Depth is adjustable in the same place too — 2, 3 or 4 lines — if you ever want to dial it up or down. I'll be straight with you about one thing: it stops at two lines, so a single-line opening will still leave a little space rather than none, and a proper raised initial is what would close that last bit — it's on the list as its own job. Really glad you flagged this one. It should go live in 1.30.0 tomorrow evening!

Both, as it turns out — the specific one you asked for and the general one.
Grandparent of and grandchild of are now in the list, alongside parent, child, sibling and the rest.
And because you were right that we'll never have a list long enough, there's now "something else…" at the bottom of the connection types. Choose it and you get a box to write the connection in your own words — mentor of, rival of, old friend of, sworn to, whatever your world actually needs. Your wording is what shows on both characters' pages and on the graph, not a generic label.
Great-grandparent I deliberately didn't add as a fixed type, because that road has no end — great-great-, and so on. Write it in the box and it reads exactly as you typed it.

You can already, to a degree. If you head to 'Publish' and click on Reading Room, you can send your book specifically to someone to ask for feedback. They can leave comments on every paragraph. It is V1. I would love to know your thoughts as well as your collaborator. I wanted to get something out first (to prove the tech will actually work) and then iterate on top of it to make it better.
